Ok. I’ve calmed down. So this was a chapter that was here mostly to characterize Nayuta and flesh her backstory out. And Fujimoto cooked so hard Gordon Ramsey approved of his meal. It started as Nayuta almost survived but then that fucker Baram pretended to be controlled by her.

This gun is so well drawn. Just saying all you people shitting on Fujimoto’s art.

I swear if Fujimoto killed her off I will jump off a bridge. Not really but still, seeing her slowly realize that Denji is her family and try to discover her identity recontextualizes everything. It’s so amazing and I SWEAR TO GOD IF FUJIMOTO KILLS HER OFF-. After the flashback that shows Nayuta trying to discover who she is and just seeing them together. UGH this is so good. Also this proves that Denji is a good parent and some idiots believe that Nayuta is Makima. Still knowing that Nayuta knew about Makima all along is shocking.

After the Nayuter flashback we see that Makima’s abuse still hasn’t left Denji as Denji doesn’t believe he can live a “normal life” again. What a sad story, and I’m getting Eva vibes with that hospital bed.

Chainsawman Stats:

• Kishibe, Reze, and Kobeni Status: Still haven’t shown up but they probably either carried Denji to the hospital or saved Nayuta. I really don’t think that Yoshida or Diharrea Woman did that
• Art: WE’RE SO BACK. WE’RE SO BACK. LOOK AT THIS FUCKING ART. DID FUJIMOTO FINALLY GET AN ASSISTANT?
• Biweekly Devil: TBH, even though we have a two week break, I don’t really care that the Biweekly Devil is back because these chapters are so peak.
• BarHIM-O-Meter: I changed the name of this status. Even with him being kind of a fraud, you gotta respect how much effort he puts into being a hater. Still, I will leave his fan-club if he causes Nayuta’s death
