The Reze Report: Chainsaw Man Chapter 161 Review

FINALLY! AFTER LIKE A YEAR WE GET ASA REALIZING THAT DENJI IS CHAINSAW MAN! I’VE BEEN WAITING A YEAR FOR IT!!! ASADEN SHIPPERS THIS IS OUR CHAPTER!!! Anyway, so it starts with the surgeons finishing cutting up Denji, before Brobeni, Agni, Haruka, Katana Man, the Nobara Fiend, Fami, Asa and Yoru all break in. What I find funny is that the surgeons aren’t even suprised at them showing up, and they seem more annoyed then anything. Anyway, they find Denji all cut up and search through all of his body parts to reattach his entire body.

Katana Man is such a W character. Not only that he’s such a hater and I love him.

They find Denjis… thing, and Yoru gets in an arguement with Katana Man because Yoru wants “to fight Denji in her perfect form.” Don’t lie Yoru, you’re just a tsundere. Katana Chad calls Yoru’s lack of game out and Yoru starts yapping about how she doesn’t need “game” and how love is stupid. Then the Nobara Fiend tells her that she just doesn’t get it yet and Yoru gets pissed at that. I know I’m not the only one who thinks that a bit of Asa has bled into Yoru, right? This all stops when Brobeni finds Denji’s head. Haruka looks at it, wanting to see his idol, but then he realizes it’s Denji and shows it to her.

Finally, Asa realizes that the boy she fell in love with before he “stood her up” is also the boy she fell in love with during the Falling Devil Arc. THAT MEANS MORE ASADEN CONTENT LETS GOO BROS TRUST TRUST TRUST!!! Then the fraud devil hunter brings Quanxi who looks dead inside. For some reason, she looks dead inside like that collar on her neck is like a bomb and it’s threatening to kill her or something. Is that just me?

• Kishibe, Kobeni, and Reze Status: I’m still holding out for Reze but KISHIBE WILL COME BACK BECAUSE QUANXI! TRUST!
• Art: Same as always. The Asa reaction is priceless though.
